Reddit Unveils Free Tools for Businesses Amidst Upcoming IPO
Enhancing Organic Presence on the Platform
Reddit recently introduced “Reddit Pro,” a set of complimentary tools designed to assist businesses in expanding their organic presence on the site. This move comes prior to Reddit’s anticipated Initial Public Offering (IPO). By providing these free resources, Reddit aims to attract more brands to its community and potentially transform some into paying advertisers.
The current beta stage of Reddit Pro offers businesses an exclusive user interface filled with useful tools. These include AI-driven trends and discussions related to brand-specific keywords, enabling brands to engage in timely and pertinent conversations. Additionally, the suite provides publishing capabilities for scheduling and drafting public posts, along with performance analytics to optimize strategies based on organic post results. Brands can monitor their total engagement and monthly development through the Pro dashboard. Furthermore, businesses can amplify their reach by converting organic posts into ads within the platform using the “promote” feature. Over 200 entities such as Taco Bell, Wendy’s, NFL, WSJ, Kate Somerville, and Atlas Headrest have already adopted Reddit Pro. Early findings indicate a 11-post and comment enhancement and a +35% rise in monthly upvotes for participating brands.
According to Reddit Chief Marketing and Consumer Experience Officer Roxy Young, “through Reddit Pro, we’re linking companies with communities in a reciprocal manner: valuable tools and heightened involvement from businesses, leading to enriched experiences for our users.” Businesses can secure access to Reddit Pro on a first-come, first-served basis, with further developments planned throughout the year.
