Apple Releases VisionOS 1.1 with Enhanced User Personas and Enterprise MDM
Apple recently unveiled VisionOS 1.1, featuring enhanced user personas and Mobile Device Management (MDM) capabilities. Notably, this update refines hair and makeup appearances, neck and mouth representations, and eye rendering within EyeSight. Moreover, it allows hands-free persona capture via Settings > Persona > Hands-free Capture mode. Furthermore, VisionOS 1.1 supports MDM for corporate device administration, enabling admin configurations, app installation, and remote wipes. Previously, Apple had declared its intent to provide enterprise device management solutions. Other minor enhancements include deleting system apps from the Home View, improving Mac connectivity, enhancing virtual keyboard text input accuracy, updating closed captions during Apple Immersive videos, and expanding available developer applications beyond the current 1,000+ native apps.
